Executive Account Manager

Purpose of Position

The Executive Account Manager is responsible for providing CSR’s Channel Partners and prospects with the highest possible level of quality in service. It is expected that the Executive Account Manager will devote his or her energies to furthering the business objective of CSR.


The Executive Account Manager will combine superior product knowledge with a high level of integrity with the objective of developing and maintaining mutually beneficial long-term solutions and business partnerships

Executive Account Management Responsibilities

  • Engage with Channel Partners and become a trusted advisor.
  • Articulate CSR’s competitive differentiators
  • Coordinate and support sales and technical resources
  • Identify business needs
  • Develop individual account strategies
  • Maintain an accurate forecast of accounts
  • Act as a client consultant, discovering new opportunities to upsell and generate additional revenue
  • Understand category-specific trends
  • Successfully navigate high-value accounts to create opportunities for deeper relationships at the C-level, including conducting quarterly business reviews
  • Give presentations to explain how the products and services work.

Channel Partner On-Boarding

  • Manage the steps on the onboarding process with the channel partner including, but not limited to:
  • Account configuration and set up
  • Training
  • Monitor, identify and mitigate potential problems and deliver on customer requests

Channel Partner Communication

  • Take customer service calls from end-users when necessary
  • Engage clients through regular strategic calls
  • Collaborate with channel partner web development team to showcase CSR products on their website

Marketing Responsibilites

  • Participate in weekly marketing meetings to meet business needs of current clients

Tradeshow Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist with pre-show and on-site operations
  • Meet with current and potential channel partners to articulate value proposition

Strategic Planning

  • Attend monthly / quarterly account planning sessions with our strategic product development Teams (Compliance & IT)
  • Present Quarterly Business Review (QBR) to EVP each quarter which will address past performance and expectation of current quarter, analysis of pipeline, key wins, and personal improvement goals.
Develop partnership with sales reps and optimize the joint selling opportunities within the verticals.

Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology, or related field.
  • 3+ Years’ experience in a similar position
  • Aptitude for learning technology
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate and articulate the value proposition
  • Demonstrates exceptional follow-through and personal drive
  • Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient with Zoho or HubSpot CRM tools a plus
